Effectiveness Indicators

Program performance is reflected through effectiveness indicators as defined by the JRCERT. Explanations of these measures and program data that correspond with the annual report most recently submitted to the JRCERT are noted below. This information can also be obtained at www.jrcert.org/resources/program-effectiveness-data. Questions about program effectiveness data should be forwarded to the Program Director.

Graduates will pass the national ARRT certification exam.
Credentialing Examination Pass Rate – 2019 through 2023:
This is the number of students that pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination on the first attempt within six months of graduation from the program. The figure reflects an average over a five-year span. The program’s credentialing examination pass rate stated as an average from the years 2019-2023 is 88.7%. Sixty-three of the 71 graduates of this program taking the ARRT certification examination passed on the first attempt.

Employers will indicate satisfaction with program graduates.
Employer Satisfaction – January 1 through December 31, 2023:
This is the result of surveys conducted with employers of program graduates from the indicated time frame. Ten of 10 surveys disseminated to employers were returned to the program. Of the responding employers, 100% expressed satisfaction with the job performance of graduates.

Students seeking employment will be able to find employment in the radiologic sciences field.
Job Placement Rate – 2018 through 2023:
This is the number of students that gain employment in the radiologic sciences within one year of graduation versus the number that graduate and are actively seeking employment. The figure reflects an average over a five-year span. The program’s job placement rate as an average from the years 2019 through 2023 is 100%.  Seventy-nine of the 79 graduates obtained employment in the radiologic sciences within one year of graduation.

Graduates will indicate satisfaction with their preparation as entry-level practitioners.
Graduate Satisfaction – January 1 through December 31, 2023:
This measures the number of graduates indicating satisfaction with their preparation as entry-level practitioners on the Graduate Follow-up Survey, Institutional Performance Section. The number of graduates affirming their satisfaction was 10 of 10 students or 100%.

Students will complete the program.
Completion Rate – January 1 through December 31, 2023:
This is an annual measurement of the number of students that began the program divided by the number of students that actually completed the program. The program’s completion rate for 2023 was 71.4%. Ten of the 14 students expected to complete the program in 2023 went on to complete it in that year. The five-year average (2019-2023) program completion rate was 77.7%.
