Program Outcomes
1. Performance on Licensure Exam:
Alabama Board of Nursing Prelicensure Program Pass Rate: The percentage of those graduates of a prelicensure program taking the national licensure examination during a calendar year who achieve a passing score on the national licensure examination during the calendar year.
The following definition will be used beginning with the calendar year 2022 for the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing definition os performance of licensure exam: Of the most recent annual pass rate (based on the “N”), shall be 80% or greater for all first-time test-takers.
2. Program Completion:
At least 30% of the students admitted for DAY CLASSES will graduate on time (3 semesters) and 40% will graduate in 200% of the time of the stated program length beginning with the first required nursing course: six semesters.
At least 30% of the students admitted for Evening/Weekend CLASSES will graduate on time (5 semesters) and 40% will graduate in 200% of the time of the stated program length beginning with the first required nursing course: ten semesters.
