Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) invites the community to hop on over to a community-wide Easter Egg Hunt and activities on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm in the Courtyard on the Wallace Campus in Dothan. Don’t miss out on this eggcellent opportunity for fun with family, friends, and neighbors at WCCD, sponsored by the collaborative efforts of the Rotaract and Phi Theta Kappa student organizations!
The Easter Egg Hunt is open to the entire community, welcoming participants of all ages to join in the fun. The hunt will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and will feature separate hunts for two age groups: 0 – 6 years old and 7 – 12 years old, ensuring that every child has an equal chance to find plenty of eggs filled with sweet surprises.
In addition to the egg hunt, participants will have the chance to hunt for the elusive Golden Egg, adding an extra element of excitement to the event. The lucky finder of the Golden Egg will receive a special prize!
“We are delighted to host this Easter Egg Hunt in partnership with Rotaract and Phi Theta Kappa,” said Keith Boozer, WCCD Instructor and Rotaract sponsor. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and enjoy some outdoor fun on our Wallace Campus in Dothan.”
After the egg hunt, attendees can participate in a $5.00 Cake Walk and have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Plus, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Play 8 Gaming Truck will be on-site, providing even more entertainment for participants of all ages.
The community Easter Egg Hunt at WCCD is made possible through the hard work of WCCD’s students and faculty/staff advisors involved in two of the College’s service and honors organizations.
