The Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) Fine Arts Department will hold its 2025 Spring Showcase on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Bencze Theatre on the Wallace Campus in Dothan. The Showcase will feature performances by the Wallace Concert Choir, the Wallace Sound and the Wallace Performing Arts Honor Choir.
Tickets for the 2025 Spring Showcase are $5 each. Tickets are available for purchase online or at the Bencze Theatre box office one hour prior to the show.
“We are excited for the addition of our Performing Arts Festival to our Showcase this Spring,” said Cameron Johnson, WCCD Choral Director. “Local 7-12 grade students will compete during the day with solos and monologues, and the winners will get to perform on stage for our audiences.”
All performers will join Wallace’s Choral Students in an Honor Choir conducted by Shannon Jeffries from Georgia Southern University.
“Along with these exciting new additions, you will hear some favorites from the Wallace Sound, like ‘Celebration’ and ‘Sparkling Diamond,’” added Johnson. “We will also sing songs that are special to our choral alumni, like ‘He Never Failed Me Yet.’ Join us in this celebration of music and arts in our community!”
