Tickets now on Sale for The Filharmonic Concert

The Filharmonic will perform at WCCD on Tuesday, October 18th at 7:00pm.

Tickets are now on sale for the Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) Fine Arts Department’s The Filharmonic concert on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 7:00 pm at the Bencze Theatre on the Wallace Campus in Dothan. In addition to performing, the nationally recognized a cappella group will also hold a vocal clinic for local area high school students prior to the concert.

“We are thrilled to have The Filharmonic come to work with local students and perform for the community,” said Cameron Weiler, WCCD Choral Director. “It is part of our objective to provide educational, musical experiences to students of the Wiregrass and bring talented artists to Dothan. You do not want to miss this concert!”

The Filharmonic is an LA-based Filipino-American a cappella group that were semi-finalists on NBC’S musical competition The Sing-Off and toured nationally on The Sing-Off Tour. The 5-piece vocal group was featured in the Universal Pictures movie Pitch Perfect 2 and became a viral sensation after their Late Late Show with James Corden appearances. According to their website, The Filharmonic has shared their unique blend of hip hop, pop,and 90’S nostalgia to more than 150 college stages nationwide and in 2016 were named the #1 college-booked entertainment group of the year.

Tickets for The Filharmonic concert are $10 each (students and general admission) and can be purchased at wallace.edu or at the Bencze Theatre box office one hour prior to the show.
