Mission: The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

Criteria: To be eligible for membership, a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours (excluding developmental course work) toward an AA, AS, or AAS degree and have a minimum GPA of 3.5. First-term freshmen who were members of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, recipients of a WCC academic scholarship, or who scored 25+ on the ACT exam may enter into the organization immediately, as provisional members.

Dues: $75 (one-time fee)
