Wallace Community College requires all students to have a current photo student ID. Your Wallace student ID is the College’s official form of identification and helps maintain a safe and secure campus environment.
- Students must obtain a Wallace student ID.
- Student IDs are available in the libraries on both the Wallace and Sparks Campuses.
- Students must carry their Wallace student ID while on campus.
- Students should obtain their ID no later than the second week of classes.
Faculty require students to show a valid Wallace student ID for attendance verification and participation in class.
If you are asked by a College employee or Campus Police to provide identification, you must present your Wallace student ID. Students who cannot provide a valid ID may be asked to leave campus until they can return with proper identification.
Visitors and individuals conducting official College business—such as applying for admission or financial aid or participating in a campus tour—may be asked to explain the purpose of their visit. Once their College business is complete, they are expected to leave campus.
Tip: Get your student ID early in the semester so you have it when you need it for classes, college services, and identification on campus.
